I was just going through my email and found a msg that said, I’m still supposed to be blogging!!! Which is great actually!

So i’m back in toronto…spent quite a bit of time in london. I love it there!

The RBMA studio is still open - which is absolutely amazing! So i’ve been recording there. It’s such an honor to record my debut album at Red Bull Music Academy Studio!!

Makes me so happy!!

So what have i been doing?????

well I went to berlin for a bit, it was nice to catch up with everyone there… met some amazing people there!!!

Flew to switzerland, lausanne for a show with FFYS - Food For Your Soul. They are the sweetest people ever, I had such a good time. We took a lot of pictures….none of which I have (really gotta get on that). And we made a mini video for a song I will record produced by COCO BRYCE! Looking forward to it!! Special thanks to Ngoc Lan and Boo!!! Love ya’ll!!

So while in london…I met up with Maulin, Kato and Throwing Snow, we all did songs together….I return to london to add the finishing touches and continue onwards.

Also did a new track with flako….it’s so awesome, if i can say so myself. FIRE!

Anyways…just popping in…i’m probably skipping a lot. But you get the gist!!!!

Thanks to everybody who made it possible, big shout outs to Red Bull Music Academy and EXCLAIM! Shout outs also to Face-T, Boogat and MC Zulu with who I toured.
And finally, very important, a big thank you to everybody who came and danced and made these nights memorable!

Poirier { Running High was released in Japan a week or two ago.

Just received the actual Japanese CD version (while watching the Canadiens!). Nice to see all these characters that I don’t understand hehe.

Actually, more than having a long interview translated in japanese inside, the CD have a very different track listing. Instead of having 2 CD, it’s only 1CD with 6 bonus tracks with some exclusives you can’t find elsewhere! Here’s the exclusives featured:

Les Canadiens ont gagné contre toutes attentes! Incroyable. Je suis passé sur Ste-Catherine après la game et y’avait de l’ambiance! Dans deux jours on amorce la série contre Pittsburgh. Ça ne sera pas facile, mais Halak est déjà notre héros. }

Poirier { So I didn’t win the Juno award. Bublé stole my award. Damn. I should ask him for a featuring.
It’s OK, I wasn’t expecting to win.

I must say I’m very happy I didn’t go to St. John’s because the Juno’s don’t pay for your plane ticket and accomodation. Weirdly enuff, they had a snowstorm that weekend and lots of flight were canceled/delayed. Adding to the Iceland’s volcano, plane travelling was very tuff last weekend… I avoided all that trouble and ate lots of Timbits instead because I was driving between Halifax and Saint John.

Oh, btw, I promised myself to not go anymore to galas. I’m a musician/DJ, what I do is music, not sitting in a chair smiling for no reasons.

Poirier { Hey, just got a brand new video to share!

The Coco Drunk video was released yesterday, staring Sophie Cadieux (for the first time in a video) and directed by the excellent Baz who did already the Blazin video three years ago.

The video was shot in Montreal on the Plateau, at Piknic Electronik and Francofolies.
